Recently, there has been a lot of discussion about the safety of certain imported foods. I thought today's medical forum post should touch on this issue. The seafood that has come from China has been in the spotlight of this debate. The problem is that the food standards in these countries are not as high as ours. That brings up the medical forum question of if we should continue to import as much food as we do? China is not the only country with tainted food. The stopped food shipments have come from Mexico, India, England, France and Brazil. I wonder what a medical members forum would say about this?
