In today's medical forum post I wanted to touch on a list of substance that will increase your chances of getting sun burnt. Sunburns can increase your chances of skin cancer and do irreversible damage to your skin. Almost every medical members forum or medical forum will tell you to wear sunscreen. However, sun protection can't stop there. Be very careful in the sun if you are taking diuretics, antibiotics, skin care products (retin-A, alpha hydroxyl acid), heart or diabetes medicine, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory pain drugs and balsam of Peru. I know this is a long list of possible products but they can all increase your chances of sunburns even if you are wearing sunscreen. Was this medical forum post helpful?
