Medical ForumSince it is summer time I thought today's medical forum post should touch on beach safety. With the summers getting hotter it can be even more important to use sunscreen. After looking through a different medical forum, I found that the best way to overcome strong rip currents is to stay away from places that have them. But if you do get caught in a strong rip current make sure to swim to the side until you don't feel a current pulling you anymore. Also, beware that drinking alcohol can impair your ability to swim. Chat on any medical members forum and they will tell you that drinking and swimming may be fun but is not safe when strong currents are involved. Have you heard any other medical forum or medical members forum tips for beach day safety?
