They have come to the conclusion that smoking marijuana at a young age could cause psychosis later in life. They said it could boost your chances a staggering 40%. There has been much debate on other medical forums and medical members forums on the long term affects of smoking marijuana. It has been fairly conclusive that the long term affects are slim to none but with this study doctors may be changing their tune. The increase in psychosis may be linked to the potency of today's marijuana. THC levels continually rise because of the current breeding techniques of the seeds.
