I've just read several useful medical members forum posts. I decided I would like to share something I know and write a medical members forum post of my own. I suffered every month for years from all kinds of unpleasant premenstrual symptoms from breast tenderness to irritability. I was so desperate I considered using antidepressants. Then I discovered something. My PMS was so severe because of a lack of Vitamin D in my body. Concerns about skin cancer and weight gain meant I'd deprived myself of the two main sources of Vitamin D. One of the sources is natural sunlight. The other source of Vitamin D is milk. Now I make sure I drink at least two glasses of low fat milk every day. During the summer, I also go outside for short intervals of time and absorb the Vitamin D from the Sun's rays, especially during the week before my period. My PMS has not totally disappeared. However, I suffer from fewer symptoms than I once did. Now you know why I wanted to write this medical members forum post. I hope Vitamin D will help you as much as it has me.
