As the internet continues to surprise me at just about every single turn, I find myself again amused at just what you can find online. The other day I fell and sprained my foot, I needed to find out how to take care of it. So I hopped around online and looked at a few medical sites and actually found the treatment plan that I needed without having to even call or make a visit to see my doctor; the ankle is much better now thanks for asking. Anyway I was shocked when I saw that many of the medical answers web sites featured a full fledged online medical dictionary. Now I am certainly not a doctor, but the online medical dictionary that I browsed through—out of sheer curiosity—was amazing. It was as thick as a paper medical dictionary, only online and with a long and trailing page count. I am willing to bet you could find any medical terms that you are looking for in an online medical dictionary. This would make studying for a med student far easier because they could copy and past medical terms for flash cards in a snap from the online medical dictionary to your word pad.
