My friend just joined a medical school forum. She is going to be starting medical school next year. She was telling me that the medical school forum was very interesting. She was able to get some ideas of what to expect at her school. She met some great people who put her right as ease.  Asking questions about what to expect at the school was a legitimate use of the forum. It is there to help out students, even ones who have been accepted but have not started yet. It is a resource and tool that will benefit her greatly over the next few years. Getting to know people on the forum will make it easier on her when she goes off to study. She is not as intimidated anymore.

The only problem was that people want her to study the same things they are. Everyone thinks his or her choice of medical study is the best choice. She has a lot of time to decide, she has not even started her first year yet.
